The Civic Center Fountain sits next to the Memphis City Hall facing the Civic Center Plaza. The memorial site was presented by the City of Memphis, while the tablet was presented by the Downtown Auxiliary Unit. The memorial site consists of flags from the nations which claimed the land where Memphis is now located.
