This large-scale public sculpture is located in Overton Park, near the top of the Levitt Shell’s slope. It is an abstract form that includes two wooden platforms that appear to float in the middle of a spiral of thick metal. The artist, Caspar Henselmann, is a native German who now resides in Chicago.
